Tom’s Urban 24 to Open L.A. Branch

Over the last seven years, entrepreneur Rick Schaden and his company, Consumer Capital Partners (CCP), have launched several successful restaurants. Rick Schaden has been especially active in leading Tom’s Urban 24, a Denver-based eatery he is developing with a hands-on approach.
After a successful start in Denver, Tom’s Urban 24 has announced plans to open at Los Angeles’ L.A. Live, located downtown. When making the announcement, Richard E. Schaden noted that at the moment the area’s restaurant choices are dominated by pricier sit-down restaurants. An executive at AEG, L.A. Live’s landlord, said that he had seen increased demand for late-night restaurants in downtown L.A., where some events at the Staples Center finish in the wee hours and leave attendees hungry.
The restaurant will open in conjunction with new outlets for two of Richard Schaden and CCP’s other creations: Smashburger and Live Basil Pizza. All three restaurants are expected to be operating by the end of 2013.
